Sports became my way to belong. There were many coaches, teachers and teammates that were all a part of my childhood who helped me develop this choice. In the fictional “glue” of El Capitan I hope you find in the reading that there is nothing false in it. Consider what is happening in our cities and towns today and you may find that this part of the story is also true. We all want to belong to something. There are many choices, and those choices have consequences. That is the essence of the story called El Capitan.
